Cancel or archive a class

Cancel releases credits without a late-cancel fee. Archive hides a canceled class from the public site.

Who can do this: Studio managers (edit class schedule).

Canceling a class keeps it on the public list as CANCELLED so students still see the change. Archive hides it from /s/{slug} and /site-embed/{slug}.

Cancel

  1. Open the session (/classes/{id}) or Edit class.
  2. Use Cancel this class… / Cancel this & following… / Cancel entire series….
  3. Studio cancel releases membership credits and does not take a late-cancel fee. Bookings are not left on a deleted class.
  4. Hard delete is only for a one-off session with no bookings.

Archive

  1. On a cancelled row, use Archive, or open the session header Archive.
  2. Confirm Just this session (default) or also archive other canceled future sessions of the same class.
  3. On a still-scheduled session, Cancel & archive cancels first, then hides the class. If cancel fails, nothing is archived.
  4. Restore one session at a time from Archived (the last 50 archived classes). For older ones, email hello@fitnessclass.studio.

Gotchas

  • Existing class dates keep their instructor even if you later archive that person. Archive only stops them being offered for new classes.
