Messages and email
Retired print-shop guide. Fitness Class Studio uses classes and memberships instead.
This page described the print-shop product (quotes, garments, or production). Fitness Class Studio uses classes, memberships, email, and optional one-to-one texts.
Staff can email a student from the Clients ⋯ menu. Staff can Send text only to students who opted in (unchecked-by-default checkbox on sign-up or Profile), on the same phone they agreed with, after Twilio is set up. Every staff text starts with the studio name and ends with Reply STOP to opt out. Students can text STOP to opt out, START to opt back in, or HELP.
The student’s admin page has a Messages tab (alongside Details and Membership). It lists emails and texts with that student, newest first, with All / Email / Text filters. Incoming texts are labelled Received; studio sends are labelled Sent. Resend appears only for notes the studio sent that can go out again — not for texts the student sent in. Send email and Send text are on that tab and in the page header.
When a student texts the studio (anything other than STOP, START, or HELP), the studio contact email gets a short notice with their name, the message, the time, and a button to this Messages tab. Unknown numbers still notify the studio, without a student name, and are not attached to a client. A small red dot on the Messages tab and on the Clients list name means there is an unread received text; it clears when staff open Messages. If Auto-reply to text messages from clients is on in Integrations, that student also gets the studio’s saved reply once per day. The auto-reply shows here as Sent from Auto-reply. STOP, START, HELP, and people who opted out never get that reply.
